Wednesdays 10.15-11.15 a.m.
All Saints Hall, Downshire Square, Reading RG1 6NJ.

Beth has been teaching baby massage since 2002 when she trained with Peter Walker, pioneer of Developmental Baby Massage.

This style of massage is for all babies and has been shown to benefit them in many ways, including strengthening the limbs, encouraging co-ordination and flexibility, and helping the child to develop physical confidence. Premature babies `catch up` quicker with their peers if they are massaged regularly, and babies with colic and digestive disorders can gain much comfort from the strokes that Beth teaches. If you and your baby have had a traumatic birth experience, massage may help to reduce stresses and upset caused by it.

This massage is a great addition to you and your child`s day, and can be incorporated at bedtime to relax them after a bath, or at any other time.

Classes will be run for one hour, and will include a full massage routine using natural massage oil. This will be followed by a social time with tea and biscuits.

The four week course should be comprehensive enough for you to be confident to practise the techniques at home, whenever you and your baby desire.

Please bring two towels, as the babies will be lying on the ground unclothed and we need something absorbent underneath them to catch any spillages, plus a spare.

This will be a wonderful bonding experience for you and your baby.

Babies must be at least 6 weeks old and will be welcome in the classes until they are crawling, at which point they are usually ready for more physical activities.

Register for the classes by booking a four week block of classes, these classes can be use over a six week period. Cost of a four week block is £35.
