Please see google reviews for latest!I went to Marie’s pregnancy Yoga classes throughout my pregnancy- including the evening I went into labour! Her class was an oasis of calm in a busy week, and helped me to physically and emotionally prepare for a calm and beautiful birth. Even as a second time mum I learnt something new every week. In addition to the yoga practice, classes end with a cup of tea and a healthy homemade treat and chance to talk. The small class size (6-7) fosters a lovely sense of community and Marie is incredibly caring and knowledgeable, providing well evidenced advice without judgement. I highly recommend her classes, and am now continuing with her mum and baby class. Kirsty. ‘ Marie's classes when I was pregnant and postnatally too. She is a supportive and knowledgeable teacher. I always found her empowering, she is an advocate of pregnant persons rights and choices. I think having a yoga teacher who is also a doula makes a huge difference to preparing you for birth (however you decide to bring your baby into the world) and repairing your body afterwards.’ Elizabeth. 'Michael and I both feel your yoga class was the most useful thing we did for birth prep, thank you. It's been so enjoyable and worthwhile.' Hannah'

'Best and most amazing experience. Thank you for getting your support. I don’t think I would have been able to do this without drugs without your support and Yoga. Thank you so much. I truly mean it. You do such a grand job and helped me in so many ways that I don’t think I could tell you.'Michelle

I cannot recommend Marie’s classes enough. Marie is a wonderful woman with a huge breath of knowledge within yoga, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery and babies. Her classes are gentle and relaxing and tailored to supporting you throughout your journey in motherhood.

The classes are intimate (6 per class) making it super special as you get to share your experiences along the way - it’s been such a great way to meet new mums and to connect out of class too.

Not only do you get to experience Marie’s expertise in yoga and babies, but you also get to enjoy her wonderful cooking. Marie makes delicious healthy cakes and lunches as part of the classes - I always look forward to Marie’s classes as they are a real treat for yourself!

Overall amazing and exceptionally good value. Rebecca

‘I'd definitely recommend the mom and baby yoga with Marie at Gently Strong Yoga. It offers a good balance of movement for post-partum recovery, personalised advice and an opportunity to share thoughts, knowledge and issues with women in the same situation in a supportive environment. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, the classes take place at Marie's house which is beautifully decorated. Marie is a knowledgable and kind teacher, respecting personal choices, and has created a wonderful community through her classes. ‘ Denitsa

‘Marie has been extremely instrumental in my pregnancy journey. Her yoga classes helped me foster strength in my mind and body. One of the many good things about her class is the format of the session. It begins with knowing about each other how one felt. Marie is beacon of knowledge when it comes to pregnancy and also practices as a doula.Through the doubts of mine plus others and answers given by Marie during the session ,lot of knowledge was build on by me. This followed by a well curated prenatal yoga 🧘‍♀️ posture & breathing practice session which ended with a delicious healthy cookie and green tea.’ Swati

Thank you a ton Marie for all the support, knowledge you have imparted and care. I am so glad I landed at your door😊

I feel incredibly lucky that I found Marie and Gently Strong Yoga during my pregnancy. Marie has an incredible depth of knowledge about pregnancy, labour, and having a newborn. Her yoga sessions are fantastic exercise during pregnancy and prepare you for labour. The atmosphere that Marie creates is very special. With a maximum of 6 people per class she really gets to know you and your journey and it also lets you bond with the other mums and support each other.

As well as building an environment to make pregnant women feel strong and supported, every few months she also holds a partner night, one of which my husband and I attended. He found the evening very useful and it made him feel more confident and equipped for the labour too.

I am now attending her mum and baby yoga sessions and they are equally as valuable. I did not use her as a Doula, but have no doubt that she would make the perfect birth partner if that is what you are looking for. Cat

Marie is amazing! I started attending her pregnancy yoga class when I was 15 weeks pregnant and it was honestly a huge part of why I felt so well, both physically and mentally, throughout my whole pregnancy. Marie is so kind, gentle, calming and of course knowledgeable and skilled! I have scoliosis and she expertly guided me through caring for my back throughout the pregnancy, and now postnatally. I attend her mum and baby yoga classes now with my little girl and we love it. Highly recommend!!! Ashling

Marie’s classes were a massive support through my pregnancy (all the way to week 42!) and postnatally - they gave me confidence for the journey to motherhood and what always felt like a well needed warm hug and reassurance, as well as some much-needed space to look after myself as a new mum. Thanks so much Marie, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
